Eternal truths of the everlasting God
Using the term eternal is to use a qualifier that sometimes we seem supernatural, if we consider the spiritual aspect. If you appreciate in the earthly aspect, then our focus changes, because it would measure according to the length of our days in life. In the word of God is eternal truths and these last ... forever.
Some time during the praises of God in our church, suddenly the unexpected happened. A person who played the guitar faded in the eyes of all who were gathered that morning. First aid came to this man without a positive outcome, because given the uncertainty of the church, had died instantly. Today, after some time of this unexpected event and learning about God's word, I wanted to express this incident as an example to the topic I write.
There are three eternal truths that we must reflect in our Christian life. Charles R. Swindell, pastor and leader of the Christian church, this perspective makes clear the first to mention the eternal truth;
"His gifts makes you valuable, but not necessarily famous." The apostle Paul in his First Letter to the Corinthians makes mention of the spiritual gifts mentioned; Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same spirit. There are different ways to serve but one master. There are several functions, but the same God which worketh all in all. Taking the example of the man who died while playing the guitar praising God, we see that performed a valuable role in your music ministry. This was not a famous man, but that gift that God had allowed him to have, used it to praise God. This man, who actually called Gerardo, was a worthy man, not so much for his gift of playing the guitar, but because he used that gift to please God. We know and we know there are many people who enjoy great popularity in their life and that popularity has tried hard economic solvency others can have. If we meditate on the gifts they have and wonder if they are used to the praise of our Creator, the answer in most cases would be negative. Really use their gifts only for their material and personal, leaving aside the spiritual, as it would give that gift to others in praising the Lord.
The apostle Paul mentions in the same letter, to each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the good of others. To one is given by the spirit word of wisdom to others by the same spirit, word of knowledge, to another faith by the same spirit to others, and by the same spirit, gifts of healing, other miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another the discerning of spirits, to another speaking in different tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All this makes one Spirit, distributing to each one as He wills. Perhaps our friend Gerardo would never excel in music, never become famous, but it was definitely a man with a lot of value for serving in ministry praise and glory to the Lord our God. The most important thing is that their gifts were in the service of God. The word says it is God who distributes these gifts as He wills. The important thing is to know how to use that gift that God gave his name to honor whatever our daily facet.
The second eternal truth;
"All work is done with love, will be remembered by God." God never forgets what we do for you. Hebrews 6, 10 says, For God is not unjust to forget your work and love for His glory, you have shown to serve the saints, and still do. This great truth should place it somewhere in our minds and remember that every time you do something simple as it may seem, in the eyes of God is valuable. Gerardo certainly enjoyed playing the guitar and this was not a great work, but Gerardo praising God with all your heart and this purpose is that God loves. Paul speaks of the gifts that God gives to each of their children. Apparently there are gifts we can think more important than others. Some gifts will make you stand out from others, but before God there is no anonymity, everyone is important as you do, do it with love. One of those gifts that you can play with love, is to serve others. It is a gift that will make you popular or famous, but it is an important gift. In his Gospel, Jesus said, I assure you that everything you did for one of my brothers, even for the smallest, they did for me.
Do things with love. I remember an anecdote of a Christian writer, who narrates in one of his books, an eccentric millionaire who served in his church accommodating cars in the parking lot, and this was really happy because I felt I was serving God in this way. You can enjoy the ministry of which is easier to look for a simple reason, you are precious to God and never forget what you do with love.
The third eternal truth;
"Our final awards will be determined on the basis of our allegiance, and not on your fame." People may never know of your ministry, or what you do for God, but this has nothing to do with the final awards. God never uses the underground popularity or fame to determine our reward. If we think for a moment in the life of our brother Gerardo, no doubt find many examples of faithfulness. There was a man who wanted fame, however, wanted to serve and his gift as God faithfully expressed. The fame you closer to God. Be faithful to God implies a deep follow his word and not all do. In his Gospel, Jesus tells about a rich young man asks, What good teacher I have to do to get eternal life? Why ask me about what is good?, Said Jesus. There is only one that is good. If you would enter life, obey the commandments. What, I ask the young man. Jesus answered him, not kill, Do not commit adultery, not steal, do not present false testimony, honor your father and your mother and love your neighbor as yourself.
All these I have kept, said the boy. What do I need? If you want to be perfect, go sell what you have and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me.
When we hear the word fidelity, partner relations with it. We perform it in every sense of the word. If you are a married person will understand its meaning. So it is with God. The word says, come and follow me. Will you be faithful? Leave everything and follow me. This includes everything away from us to commit infidelity. If you are married, to be faithful you should stay away from temptation, this means you away from what causes your partner's infidelity. With God we must move away from what causes us to be unfaithful. What can cause my infidelity to God? Exodus 20, 3-4 tells us, have no other gods before me. Do not make any idol, nor anything that is reminiscent of what is above in heaven, nor with what's down in the earth or with what is in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to them or worship. I the Lord thy God am a jealous God. When parents are evil and hate me, I punish the children unto the third and fourth generations. On the contrary, when I love and keep my commandments, I show my love for a thousand generations.
God asks you to express fidelity when you move away from other gods. God says he is a jealous God who punishes infidelity. We should honor anyone but Him This includes all the saints, all virgins and all other god who often cite the example of holiness, when there is only one saint in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ; the rest of us mere mortals. There are religions that honor the dead and create a false idolatry of human remains preserved in glass cases and only encourage the destruction. Faithfulness to God brings us to an intimate relationship with him. His word says that if you love it, it will show his love for a thousand generations.
Follow these rules of the 3 eternal truths and they will closer and closer to our God.
Use your gift to serve God. There is a "gift" insignificant, all the gifts are valuable. When you work for God with love, never forget what you did. If you think you pass unnoticed in whatever you do for God, you're wrong. He looks at your fid
