News writing for advertising and online marketing

If you're like me, you will undoubtedly struggle to write the titles of your advertising and marketing. I recently attended a seminar on this topic very useful and picked up some great tips.

As I'm writing this off the top of my head I realize how difficult it is to remember the rules that apply to writing headlines.

So I consult my notes before adding another - that is, the next part will be added and changed later, this is all part of the solution.

If you live in the UK I highly recommend Business Link for their services, including access to participate in seminars - have many of these throughout the year and across the country - look out for on Internet marketing seminars are in your area .

So when creating titles follow these rules-

It should be clear in a few seconds to capture attention,

Keep it concise edit-down-

Make exciting, what makes the reader want and need-

Structure-they flow from one paragraph to another,

Keep paragraphs short-25 to 30 words are best-

Use commas, dashes, not like here

So the next thing is to practice, just start writing and see how it goes, you may be surprised how easy it is to you, write as if a friend says the message you want to get through. Of course you can cheat by using writing software title, I recently purchased a program with resale rights so watch this space I will be available soon.

Enjoy your writing and please come back and check my future insights into all aspects of internet marketing, Gordon Bloomfield (February 2010) ......
